It started with a love of padel. And the people I met because of it.

I'm Mo Seetubtim, founder of Padel Away.

I fell in love with padel recently — and when I fall for something, I tend to go all in. I wanted to play more, train more, get better, and somewhere along the way, I realized that what I loved about padel wasn't only the game.

It was the people.

Padel gave me a reason to meet people I might never otherwise have met. Different nationalities, different backgrounds, different ages — brought together on a court, then often staying for dinner, drinks, and conversations long after the game was over.

It made the world feel a little smaller.

And that feeling became the idea behind Padel Away.

A life built around movement and travel

Travel, wellness and fitness have been part of my life since I was 16. I've gone through phases of being an avid gym-goer, Pilates lover, sprint-session devotee and spin-class enthusiast. Now, padel has completely taken over — the perfect combination of movement, competition, fun and connection.

Travel has been just as constant.

I've lived in Bangkok, Zurich, Melbourne, Sydney, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, London and Paris. For eight years, I essentially lived out of a suitcase.

In Paris, I hosted a number of parties — bringing friends, strangers and locals together over good food, music and conversation. Those nights taught me how magical it feels when the right people end up in the same room.

Along the way, I learned that the best way to experience somewhere new isn't simply to see it. It's to find your people there.

To discover the neighborhood places. Make friends with locals. Eat somewhere you wouldn't have found on your own. Stay longer than planned. See a city through the people who live there.

And now I want to do that through padel.

I've also always been that person — the one organizing the dinner, finding the restaurant, planning the weekend away and convincing everyone to come.

Padel Away is that instinct, taken around the world. Small groups. Beautiful destinations. Great courts. Amazing food. A little adventure. And people who arrive because they share a love of padel but leave having shared much more than a game.

We're starting in Thailand, because it's home. But Padel Away was never meant to be a Thailand travel company.

The dream is a global community of people who can arrive somewhere new and already have something — and someone — waiting for them.

We're starting here. We're heading everywhere.
